UKIP's Nigel Farage on Michael Gove as Tory leader

The UKIP leader has said he could work better with the Conservatives if the "open minded" Michael Gove "who thinks issues through" were to lead the party.

Nigel Farage said David Cameron was "the major obstacle" to a deal between the two parties, but he could sit round the table with the Tories if someone "pragmatic, grown up and sensible like Michael Gove was leader".

But he said there were still major differences such as grammar schools and windmills dividing the Conservatives and UKIP as he spoke to Jo Coburn about talks of a pact suggested by Conservative MP Michael Fabricant.
