Lebedev argues against press regulation
Evegeny Lebedev, owner of the Evening Standard and the Independent newspapers, has said his experiences in Russia means he is "instinctively against" state regulation of the press, as is thought will be recommended by the Leveson inquiry.
Talking to Andrew Marr, Lebedev said the "biggest scandal" of the inquiry was the overlooking of police inaction regarding phone hacking.
