Science and politics: Ben Goldacre on MPs and evidence

Writer Ben Goldacre said he was shocked that politicians were "reluctant to put their great ideas to the test".

The medical doctor and academic debated the value of evidence and the mix of science and politics with Andrew Neil, Tessa Jowell and Michael Portillo, as they looked back to the political and scientific messages over the MMR vaccines.
