Jimmy Savile allegations: Rob Wilson MP and Joan Bakewell

The BBC has been "dragging its feet" over an inquiry into allegations about the late Jimmy Savile, said Rob Wilson MP.

He asked an urgent question in the House of Commons on Monday, and told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics that "something went badly wrong in the culture of the BBC."

Joan Bakewell, who was working in the BBC at the time, said the focus should be on the women affected and it was their "opinions that matter".
