Tory conference: Osborne on employment law changes
George Osborne has outlined a "radical change to employment law" where workers would be given shares in the company in a trade-off for their rights to unfair dismissal and redundancy.
The chancellor said: "Owners, workers and the tax man all in it together - workers of the world unite."
He claimed Labour politicians allowed the banks "to run rampage", and that he was the chancellor who had done the most to reform finance and banking.
