Mastermind chair: Douglas Carswell MP on big government
A Conservative MP took to a Mastermind-style chair to claim that Britain was "mired in debt and chronically mis-governed" but said there was hope in the "digital revolution".
Douglas Carswell, who has penned The End of Politics and the Birth of Democracy put the case for the end of "big bloated government" claiming it had outgrown its capacity, for his specialised subject.
