Philanthropy: City of London School and Royal Opera House


The government's Giving White Paper aimed to encourage people to give more to charity, but that could be difficult for many in austere times.

Susana Mendonca looks at philanthropy and the role of the better off in helping good causes, including helping pupils at the City of London School and tickets for people to attend the Royal Opera House.
