Nick Clegg on Liberal Democrat referendum and elections
The Liberal Democrats have had "some real disappointments" said Nick Clegg as he spoke of tough election results and a bruising referendum, but the party "remained focused, determined, disciplined".
He said they had been seen as a "party of protest, not power" but claimed the the critics had been confounded.
He said: "Our task is far from complete, our party's journey far from over" but said there was "a better, more meaningful future waiting for us".
