Nick Clegg: Conservative and Lib Dem green policies

The Conservatives will be held to their previous promises on the environment said Nick Clegg, who claimed his coalition partner's PR image on going green had been "quite brilliant".

The Liberal Democrat leader excited the conference in Brighton when he mocked the Tory line of "vote blue and go green" by saying they "have to add yellow' - a reference to the colour used by the his party.
