Nick Clegg admits university tuition fees 'mistake'
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has said, for the first time, that he is sorry for breaking a pre-election pledge not to support any rise in tuition fees.
The apology came as part of a party political broadcast for the Liberal Democrats in which he said that making such a promise, albeit with the best of intentions, was a mistake.
