Rail and parking fares: Caroline Lucas and Brian Binley
Conservative MP Brian Binley said the government must "drive out inefficiency in the rail services" rather than cap fares.
He said some of his constituents were paying up to a quarter of their income when the costs of railway station parking fees and other charges were added up.
But Green MP Caroline Lucas said it was the privatisation process that was inefficient, allowing foreign firms to make money out of British passengers.
