Grant Shapps on Baroness Warsi as Tory party chairman
Grant Shapps said his predecessor Baroness Warsi was "a very good chairman", when asked why she was removed from the post.
The new Conservative Party chairman was asked if he was one of the three cabinet members who allegedly cried during the reshuffle.
Mr Shapps said he was unsure of the size of the party membership but he queried figures showing it had fallen by more than half since David Cameron took over as party leader in 2005.
