MPs are returning to Westminster on Monday but politics did not quite come to a stop when they packed up in mid-July.

Adam Fleming looks back over the summer break and recalls how Boris Johnson, Louise Mensch, Nick Clegg, Tim Yeo, Michael Gove, George Osborne and David Cameron still made the headlines about Heathrow Airport, the Olympics, constitutional reform and exam results.
