Aleppo: UK Foreign Office minister on Syrian fighting
The UK Foreign Office Minister Alistair Burt said it was "very difficult to tell" who was in charge of the Syrian city of Aleppo.
He told Martha Kearney on Radio Four's World At One that government forces had been able to take some areas, but opposition forces were "still strong".
He claimed the Assad regime support was "not as strong as he has indicated" and Britain was giving assistance for those affected by the fighting in Aleppo and other parts of Syria.
