Jeremy Hunt recalled the experience of a "media scrum" around his involvement with the NewsCorp bid for BSkyB, and his five-hour appearance before the Leveson Inquiry.
The culture secretary explained how he sought independence advice and that "we have learned a great deal about how to conducted these processes in the future".
