Norman Lamont on George Osborne, Ed Balls and Libor
George Osborne "possibly did overplay his hand" by alleging that former Labour ministers were involved in the Libor scandal, his predecessor Lord Lamont has said.
The Conservative peer, who was chancellor 1990-1993, told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics: "If there is an allegation Ed Balls intervened it doesn't stand up - that is clear."
