Euro currency: Douglas Carswell and Andrew Lilico

It is 10 years since much Europe celebrated the formation of the euro and many think we are still suffering from the hangover, so was it doomed from the very beginning?

Giles Dilnot looks back to the currency's launch and speaks to Andrew Lilico from the Institute of Economic Affairs, and Conservative MP Douglas Carswell.
