Ed Miliband calls for 'revolution in banking'

The Labour leader, Ed Miliband, has called for a "revolution in banking" to make the industry more competitive.

He told a newspaper the biggest high street banks should be forced to sell hundreds of branches to two new so-called "challenger banks".

His comments came as the Business Secretary Vince Cable accused big banks of "throttling" the recovery of British industry.

Political Correspondent Ben Wright reports.
