Former City trader Barbara Stcherbatcheff recalled the "fast cars, fancy lifestyle and Champagne" of her former career, but also the "sheer arrogance and pig-headedness".
The author lifted the lid of life in the Square Mile in the week when Bob Diamond left Barclays Bank after claims of interest rate manipulation. She claimed women made more consistent traders, quoting research suggesting high testosterone levels can make men "drunk with success".
