Allister Heath on Barclays interest rate manipulation
Bankers deserve all the flak they were getting, and even more, over the allegations about interest rate manipulation, according to the editor of the London daily business newspaper, City AM.
But Allister Heath said Bob Diamond was "not the monster" that he has been portrayed to be, and that the government should resist calls for higher taxes on bankers as it would damage the UK economy.
