Danny Alexander on Jimmy Carr, tax, economy and euro
The Chief Secretary to the Treasury declined to rule out the UK ever joining the euro as he spoke to Andrew Neil about the economy, Jimmy Carr, tax and coalition policy.
Danny Alexander said he had no plans to argue the UK should join the currency, but he could not foresee economic conditions in 10 or 20 years.
