SNP minister Alex Neil backs 'Queen of Scots'


Scottish government minister Alex Neil has said that Scottish independence is about the dissolution of the union between Scottish and English parliaments, not a dissolution of the union of the crowns.

He said there was no contradiction in the Queen remaining head of state of a future independent Scotland.
