Louise Mensch on Murdoch phone-hacking report confusion
Conservative MP Louise Mensch said the Culture Select Committee line that Rupert Murdoch was "not a fit person" to run an international company was not discussed until Monday this week.
The committee report published 24 hours ago was approved on a majority vote after Conservative members refused to back the claim about Mr Murdoch.
She claimed Labour MP Paul Farelly, who had earlier told the Today Programme that the issue was raised before Easter later "admitted that he got himself confused".
