Historian Andrew Roberts defends Murdoch's links to PMs
Historian Andrew Roberts claimed Rupert Murdoch's questioning at the Leveson Inquiry had resembled a kangaroo court.
He said it was absurd to portray Murdoch as a "Darth Vader figure" as he looked at the historical links between newspaper owners and politicians going back more than 100 years.
