David Cameron 'banging the drum' for UK business

David Cameron has defended his decision to take British business people, including defence industry bosses, on his tour of South East Asia.

The prime minister said that the nation should be proud of the defence sector and that getting countries like Japan to invest in the UK would "get our economy moving".

Japanese car giant Nissan has announced that a new hatchback is to be produced at its Sunderland plant.
