Chuka Umunna: Labour 'for business and unions'
Shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna has insisted that the Labour Party is committed to supporting British business with an "active industrial strategy", rejecting suggestions that his party has failed to connect with UK firms.
He also spoke out about the importance of trade unions, saying: "This country would not be able to function... were it not for trade union members contributing to our overall wealth and prosperity".
His comments came as he spoke to James Landale, guest host on The Andrew Marr Show.
