26 March 2012 Last updated at 13:56 BST

A lobbyist who helped prompt the Sunday Times investigation into "cash for access" allegations contacted the police and Electoral Commission about the role of former Conservative Party fundraiser Peter Cruddas.

Mark Adams told how he heard first of the claims from a Tory lobbyist at the party conference.

The Labour supporter said: "This is not the way we should be doing politics and I am glad we are exposing it."
