Comedienne Ruby Wax said mental health was like "being in a coma, but awake" and wants to banish the stigma of depression and mental illness.

Andrew Neil suggested a one in four figure - the percentage of the population thought to suffer from mental illness at some point in their lives - could mean 130 British MPs have mental health issues, and the panel discussed whether they should admit their problems and speak out.

They debated a film from Alastair Campbell who has spoken about his mental health issues.
