Big companies have a key role to play in the life of the communities in which they operate, claims a report from the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
David Thompson looks at whether it really is the job of businesses to go around doing good as he spoke to B&Q corporate social responsibility director Matt Sexton and Adam Smith Institute director Dr Eamonn Butler.
