Danny Alexander: 'No-one wants bonus culture'
The Chief Secretary to the Treasury has defended the government's decision not to overrule RBS's decision to award boss Stephen Hester a £963,000 share bonus.
Danny Alexander said, "all of us would prefer we... didn't have this culture of bonus entitlement", but he said, "for the wider taxpayer interest, this is the way we've got to go"
