Voice coach Barbara Berkery - who worked on the Pirates of the Caribbean and Shakespeare in Love films - explained the importance of accents to those who try and achieve fame.

Broadcaster and peer Joan Bakewell spoke of her south Lancashire accent after press talk of her being too posh to appear on the BBC.

They spoke after a Daily Politics film looking at how politicians change their voices as they achieved power.
