Rich nations 'dangerously unprepared' for future disasters
Britain's International Development Secretary, Andrew Mitchell, says some of the world's richest countries are not doing enough to respond to large scale disasters and are "dangerously unprepared".
Mr Mitchell has warned that the number of earthquakes and humanitarian disasters is likely to increase next year and wealthier nations must pay their share towards the United Nations emergency relief fund.
