George Osborne: Public sector pensions offer is a good deal
Chancellor George Osborne has stated that the pension deal being offered by the government to public sector workers is a "good deal".
Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show, Mr Osborne said that the deal is "fair to the taxpayer but also fair to the public sector".
Up to two million people are set to take part in strike action on Wednesday, including teachers, health workers and immigration staff, in protest over proposed pension changes.
