Aid to have more 'strings attached'
British aid should come with "more strings attached", says Prime Minister David Cameron.
Speaking to The Andrew Marr Show in Perth, Australia, where he has been attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, Mr Cameron said recipient countries' attitudes towards human rights will be used to determine Britain's aid policies towards them.
The Prime Minister revealed he had raised the issue of discrimination against homosexuals "consistently" with a number of African countries.
