EU vote causes biggest rebellion yet for Cameron

Help

David Cameron has suffered his biggest Commons rebellion since becoming prime minister, as 111 MPs backed a referendum on Britain's membership of the EU.

All Tory, Lib Dem and Labour MPs were told to oppose a motion for the referendum, but around 80 of those who chose to vote in favour were Conservatives.

Robin Brant reports.
