EU referendum vote: Mark Pritchard and Matthew Oakeshott

24 October 2011 Last updated at 14:43 BST

Lib Dem Lord Oakeshott accused Conservative rebels of wrecking the UK economy and coalition agreement - pledging Britain to play a "strong and positive role" in Europe. And the peer expressed surprise to be agreeing with Foreign Secretary William Hague over the Europe vote.

He called on the government to have an 11th-hour change on the vote, and downgrade it to a one-line whip.
