Actress Fiona Shaw on directing an opera
Fiona Shaw is one of the great acting talents of her generation.
Her roles in Beckett and Brecht have won her huge acclaim. She's been awarded three prestigious Olivier awards.
She has gained an international following too, as Aunt Petunia who makes Harry Potter's life a misery. She also stars in the cult vampire series, True Blood.
But her latest role is off-stage and off-screen. Fiona Shaw's passion for opera has inspired her to direct The Marriage of Figaro at the English National Opera in London.
