Alexander sets out plans to tackle tax evasion

More than 2,000 jobs are to be created at the Inland Revenue as part of efforts to clamp down on tax evasion by the wealthy.

Treasury Chief Secretary Danny Alexander will announce the government's plans at the Liberal Democrat conference in Birmingham on Sunday.

He will also put forward new measures designed to try and boost the economy.
