Clegg: "You can not simply go around breaking the law"

MPs are being recalled to parliament today for an emergency session following four nights of rioting in London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester.

Speaking to the BBC Nick Clegg said, "It is very important for us to now show that you can not simply go around breaking the law as if it has no consequences for you."

This is the second time in less than a month that MPs have been recalled for an emergency session, the first was for the phone-hacking scandal at the News of the World newspaper.
