Michael Portillo: Euro crisis could 'sweep us all away'


Michael Portillo claimed the euro zone financial problem "was going to sweep us all away unless we handle it correctly" and the UK would have to help out Greece financially.

Former Home Secretary Alan Johnson claimed Gordon Brown was needed to help solve the problems, as he would have taken a more pro-active approach.

They debated Will Hutton's film that Britain had to put its hand in its pockets and help or Greece could default and end up paying nothing back to anyone.
