'Calm down' MP brushes off calls for apology

The female MP whom David Cameron told to "calm down dear" during prime minister's questions has said she would rather he apologised for the state of the economy.

Shadow chief secretary to the Treasury Angela Eagle said she had "been patronised by better people than the prime minister", and that any apology should be "for the dreadful growth figures that we've seen today".
