Opik, Portillo and Smith on UK economy and the euro


Former Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik said the UK still has to be bail out the euro, and is dependent on the currency's success, despite remaining outside the currency, as he was asked if Britain should be glad it never joined up.

He discussed the UK's role in European finances with Michael Portillo, Jacqui Smith and Andrew Neil as they review the political week, including MPs employing interns.
