Tutu: 'End the carnage' in Libya

Archbishop Desmond Tutu has said the international community may have to offer Colonel Gaddafi a "soft landing" in order to bring the conflict in Libya to a swifter end.

He told Andrew Marr the priority was to save as many civilian lives as possible and "end the carnage".
