Ed Miliband supports UK military action against Gaddafi
Labour leader Ed Miliband has voiced his support for the UK's involvement in air strikes against Col Gaddafi's forces to protect rebel-held areas.
Military officials are said to be assessing the damage after at least 110 missiles were fired by the US and UK.
The strikes "took out" Libya's air-defence systems, and a no-fly zone was now effectively in place US military chief Adm Mike Mullen has said.
