Gaddafi was 'trying' to develop nuclear weapons

Oliver Miles, former UK Ambassador to Libya, believed Col Gaddafi was trying to develop nuclear weapons and defends Britain's relations with the nation in recent years after the Lockerbie bombing.

In his new role as deputy chairman of the Libyan British Business Council, he said it was "rather amusing" for the UK government to call for Gaddafi to go, suggesting that this would be illegal under new UN sanctions.
