Calls to end Private Finance Initiative (PFI) deals


The Private Finance Initiative (PFI) saw big firms build and maintain lots of public buildings, such as schools and hospitals, and led to stories about contractors charging £1,000 to install a TV aerial. And a private contractor charging £900 to put up a Treasury Christmas tree!

Adam Fleming reports on why is this is all too much for one group of MPs, and he spoke to Conservative MP Jesse Norman and Paul Jarvis, the editor of Partnerships Bulletin.
