Cameron and Toynbee on 1997-2010 New Labour government


David Cameron summed up his view of the previous Labour government as he addressed his party conference in Birmingham and reeled off his list of its shortcomings.

The Guardian's Polly Toynbee has co-written a book aiming to audit the work of the Labour government as Giles Dilnot looks at two opposing views of the 1997-2010 years.
