Home Secretary Theresa May signals end to Asbos

Home Secretary Theresa May has signalled a new approach to anti-social behaviour, saying those "who are closest to the problem have to be driving the solution".

Launching a review of Asbos, Mrs May said it was time to "stop tolerating" anti-social behaviour.

More than half of Asbos in England and Wales were breached in 2008, according to Ministry of Justice figures.
