Strabane gun attack: Two men arrested in connection with shooting of man

Two men, aged 29 and 20, have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a man in Strabane, County Tyrone.

It happened in the Ballycolman estate about 19:00 BST on Thursday.

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to gunshot wounds in both legs. It is understood he was shot twice in his left foot and once in his right leg.

The men were arrested on Friday morning.

They are being questioned at Antrim police station.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
