Defibrillator stolen and ambulance damaged in Derry

A heart defibrillator has been stolen from an ambulance in Londonderry.

The privately-operated ambulance was damaged on Monday evening when it was parked in the grounds of Altnagelvin Hospital.

The damage was discovered on Tuesday, when the operator noticed that the driver's side window had been broken.

A sat nav and two work phones were also stolen. Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.
